Everyone longs to give themselves completely to someone – to have a deep soul relationship with another, to be loved thoroughly and exclusively. But God, to a Christian says, “No, not until you are satisfied and fulfilled and content with living, loved by me alone. I love you, my child, and until you discover that only in me is satisfaction to be found, you will not be capable of the perfect human relationship that I have planned for you. You will never be united with another until you are united with me – exclusive of anyone or anything else, exclusive of any other desires and ongoings. I want you to have the very best. Please allow me to bring it to you – just keep watching me, expecting the greatest things – keep experiencing that satisfaction knowing that I am. Keep learning and listening to the things I have to tell you … you must wait. Don’t be anxious. Don’t worry. Don’t look around at the things others have gotten or that I’ve given them. Don’t look at the things you think you want. You just keep looking up at me, or you’ll miss what I have to show you. And then, when you’re ready, I’ll surprise you with a love far more wonderful than any would dream. You see, until the one I have for you is ready at the same time. Until you are both satisfied exclusively with me and the life I have prepared for you, you won’t be able to experience to the love that exemplifies your relationship with me… and this is perfect love. And dear one, I want you to have this wonderful love, I want you to see in the flesh a picture of your relationship with me, and to enjoy materially and concretely the everlasting union of beauty and perfection and love that I offer you with myself. I know that I love you utterly. I am the God almighty. Believe and be satisfied.I got it from Samanatha Kwan's blog, thank you (: I hope she doesnt mind me copying and pasting her whole post, but
this hit me hard. Many of us carrying out each day, doing the things we want, taking it as a form of offering to God in replacement of our
absence. God wants our 100% attention, he doesnt want us to replace it with academic, music, sports achievements.
These all, mean nothing at all. He wants us, His Children; Your heart alone.
It's good to have set goals and have ambitions; these we've been taught since young. However, we must not be too narrow-minded and let these may-bes become must-haves. God is beyong our comprehension, He has a wonderful plan for us; Jeremiah 29:11 We must allow him to work in our lives. We must.
Let us stop whatever we're doing now and think about current situations. Is this the life you want to lead? Be always fighting so hard for things that never, ever satisfy. You're tired, you cant tell right from wrong; you don't want to either. You don't want to continue this race, you wish you never started because it's taking all of you.
Please, get it right with God; One whose love's never unending, strength never depleting.
"Lead, and i will follow."
